Here at Aedos we know that we’re not perfect but we're trying to do things the right way.

The lovely people at Akoma give the farmers a fair deal for their shea butter.  Akoma are working with farmers in a poverty stricken area of Ghana and, and particularly the women in the community to empower them to create better lives for themselves.  Through the Akoma Co-operative they aim to improve the local community in a number of ways.  These range from employment opportunities and training to improving local facilities such as schools, libraries and sanitary conveniences.  For more information about the Akoma Co-operative please click here. 

Shea butter is loved for its healing and nourishing effect on the skin.  We use it in our Sugar Scrubs and Hand & Body Balms and its one of the ingredients that make them so great to use.
